Diary Note 3 : Fragrant Flowers That You never see

Almost everyone likes flowers. Flower is the beauty of nature. It gives us freshness, power and makes everything look beautiful. I really like the smell of the flower, most of the flower has a very great smell such as jasmine, rose, lily etc. I tried to find the fragrant flower that you never see and most of them are found in Asia.

1. White Chocolate Jasmine or Day Blooming Jasmine 

Biological name : Cestrum diurnum 

This flower has a brilliant smell. You can smell it only in the daytime. Thai people calls this flower as Dhiwa (ทิวา) which means the daytime. You can take care it very easily, just water it and loose the soil. It is really great for  taking a photo. I like to photograph this flower when I feel bored and smell the flower.    

2.Night Blooming Jasmine 

Biological name : Cestrum nocturnum

Night Blooming Jasmine is very similar to Day Blooming Jasmine but you can smell it only in the night time, however, the smell is greater than Day Blooming Jasmine. It's called Ratee (ราตรี) I used to have it in my house before but in my opinion, Night Blooming Jasmine is quite difficult to take care. It dies very easily. 

3. Rangoon Creeper

Biological name : Combretum indicum

In fact, I have known this flower just a year and I really like it. It grows on my house fence and blooms every 2 months when you walk near it, you can smell the gorgeous smell accompany with the beauty of the flower. It's so great. Rangoon Creeper has the Thai name as Lep Meur Neang (เล็บมือนาง) which mean the nail of a woman. I think this name come from the long small petal, like the finger of a woman but I don't know why people name it nail, instead of a finger.
