Diary Note 4 : 5 Things That Will Change Your Mind About School

When talking about the school, every student would shake that head like 'Please, do not dare to talk about that.' For an age, students still hate going to school. (So do I!) A school is a most boring place with the teachers who like giving us more, more homework and some seem unreasonable. I have just changed my attitude about the school just 6 months ago and it really helps with my studying. Here are some new views about the school. 

1. The school is where we learn new things.  

Imagine that people who live only in their house are like a frog live in a shell. Don't know anythings, it lives only in their small world. But if you go out seeking for new experiences, gain more knowledge and create an amazing technology or innovation. The school is where you can fastest find experience and knowledge. You don't need to be in the wild or in the rocket to study about animal life or the moon. Some of the information are already discovered and they already in the books. So the school is like a short-cut for knowledge. 

2. The school is where we are trained. 

When I was in Grade 4, I had a lot of group works which sometimes I didn't work with my close friends. Often I was the leader of the group and I had to organize the work but usually, my friends didn't do what I asked for. I was very upset because I was so afraid that the work might not finish on time. My dad said that 'If others don't work, that's fine. You can work mostly. Still, you need to give them a work because this is a group work. They have to participate. Maybe it's good for you. You are trained to organize the people and work as a group. If you haven't been trained now--in school, where would you be trained then.' The school is like a simulated world. So before resisting any works from the teachers, think that it's your benefit, you don't have anything to lose. Just do it! The more you have been trained, the easier is your life. 

3. We have friends and have fun! 

When the alarm is ringing and it was Monday, the worst day of the week. Most of the students would be like 'Are you kidding me? Noooo. Am I going to the school again? Where is my holiday?' But something that keeps me up from the bed is 'friends'. Sincerely, only friends because I have 8 hours to spend time with them, play, talk and have fun! If you want some incentive for going to school, keep remaining that you will see your friends at school. But I think that this trick may not work for whom the school is very close to their house and friends house because you can walk to you friend's house directly but my house and my school are far away, same as my friends. So we usually meet at school or the center. 

4. We show our ability there.

In the classroom, teachers might ask the questions. If you know the answer, you should answer it quickly! Because not only show the class your ability and it's fun, right? But if you don't know the answer, that's alright. The biggest information is just on your finger's tip. The internet and the books. You can use the internet to help to find the answer and ask Google your questions and the books for more accurate knowledge. Try with your favorite subject first. Keep in mind, the greatest scientists come from the greatest question. Keep learning and keep asking the question. But if your ability is not about academic, sport or art, this trick can also work. A bit different that, they needs more training. When you've confidence with your skill then you completely show your ability, then you will be the top star of the class!  

5. We find our passion there.

Human has things that they love and hate. We learned a lot of stuff and normally, we can define what we like and don't like since Primary school. Most of the people don't change their passion so much. At first, the school has taught everything, math, science, art, sport, for the students to know what they like then at the high school, they can go through what they had chosen. It's a great chance for you to search and follow your heart. So, make the studying is like an investigated game, searching what you like and improve it.
